September 15th / 258: This photo will surely be among the nominees for “most boring”, but there’s a story here and this little project is as much about documenting my year as it is taking cool photos. So with that in mind… About a month ago I came home to find three raccoons on the downstairs porch eating cat food. I proceeded to spray them with the hose. It felt good. About an hour later I hear this funny noise outside my door (my door, on the second level on another side of the house). The raccoons were outside scratching at it. Over the next several days the raccoons continued their retaliation. They clawed at my door, scratched at my air conditioner, climbed up on the roof above my door in an apparent attempt to jump on me as I left, and did certain…disrupting things with each other on my porch. And lastly, this…tried to eat through the screen of my window. I know it was them because I pulled up the blinds and saw them. (via Photos from Zach Rosing, tagged project365)
